With this photo album, you can visit the small village of Gamboa, on the Panama Canal, and near the Soberania National Park.
I had the chance to stay there 6 months within the framework of a scientific mission on tropical butterflies of the genus Heliconius. On Gamboa, the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI) has a research centre with butterfly greenhouses.
This village is an exceptional site because of its preserved nature, rich biodiversity and beautiful landscapes.
